Evaluation Questions

AS Foundation Portfolio Evaluation

The evaluation is an important part of the Foundation Portfolio. You must evaluate and reflect upon the creative process electronically using your blog.

In the evaluation the following seven questions must be answered:

1.    In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

2.    How does your media product represent particular social groups?

3.    What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

4.    Who would be the audience for your media product?

5.    How did you attract/address your audience?

6.    What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

7.    Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Double Page Spread Task

Write a draft of the article for your double page spread.

The article should be completed on Word and printed out for proof reading.

Deadline: Tuesday, 3rd February 2015

You will need to create rough drafts of your cover and contents page by the following date:

Monday, 19th January 2015

 

 

You should present your rough drafts using Prezi or Slideshare.

 

Remember to focus on the details on your pages by annotating your work carefully.

 

Take photographs of your rough drafts and explain the decisions that you have made about content, layout and design.
